CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

MIND & BODY

  • Roll With Me Feeling stressed or tight? Roll with me uses a foam roller and other stretching techniques to work on releasing tension and loosening tight muscles.

  • *Restorative Pilates A mindful Pilates practice to stretch every muscle in your body with a special emphasis on your “center” (abdominals, waist, low back, and glutes). *grippy socks recommended

COMBINED CONDITIONING / CORE TRAINING

  • Morning Grind A high-intensity workout that changes on a regular basis. This class is a mix of aerobic and anaerobic, and cardiovascular and muscular drills.

  • CORE & MORE A total-body workout with a heavy core-training component. Come prepared to sculpt and shape your torso with abdominal, lower-back and full-body exercises.

  • HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) This class combines short, high-intensity intervals with active recovery designed to train your body for improved performance and calorie burning.

  • Power Hour A 60-minute class featuring various cardio and strength training routines.

STRENGTH

  • Strength 101 helps you to learn safely, effectively and confidently incorporate resistance training into your regular exercise routine. Learn proper form and variations on basic exercises and discover how strength training can build lean muscle, increase bone strength and overall quality of life.

  • Body Sculpt A target toning routine that teaches you weight-training basics and works all your muscles. Sculpt your body with a variety of strength-training equipment.

  • *Pilates Pilates mat exercises stretch and strengthen every muscle in your body with special emphasis on your "center" (abdominals, waist, low back, and glutes). *grippy socks recommended

  • *Barre Low-impact, high-rep movements combined with small isometric exercises to target your arms, abs and legs. *grippy socks recommended

  • *Barre Fusion Free-weight and bodyweight moves with a focus on total-body strength. *grippy socks recommended

  • *Power Barre Take Barre to the next level by adding various equipment and forms of resistance to the exercises. Sneakers are recommended for the first part of this class. *grippy socks recommended

YOGA

  • Intro To Yoga is a beginner-friendly class designed to help participants build confidence and comfort with the fundamentals of yoga. You will learn basic poses, breathing techniques, balance, and gentle movement in a welcoming and supportive environment. This class focuses on improving flexibility, mobility, relaxation, and mind-body connection at an easy-to-follow pace suitable for all experience levels.

  • Mobility Yoga Mobility yoga focuses on improving flexibility, joint mobility, balance, and functional movement through controlled stretches and dynamic movements. This style of yoga helps increase range of motion, reduce stiffness, support injury prevention, and improve overall movement for everyday activities, fitness, and athletic performance.

  • Gentle Yoga Ease your way into yoga postures that focus on technique, flexibility, breathing and relaxation; perfect for the beginner or expectant mother.

  • Sunrise Yoga Start your day with this class that includes body alignment, breathing and relaxation techniques.

  • Vinyasa Yoga This class begins with stretching and works through a series of movements, matching breath to movement. Elements of flexibility, strength, and balance are incorporated into every class.

  • Restorative Yoga A gentle yoga practice using pillows and props to aid the body in releasing tension and enhancing range of motion through extended time in relaxing poses.

  • Power Yoga An athletic style of vinyasa yoga, strongly rooted in traditional Ashtanga. Participants move through a series of postures combining movement with breath, while building strength and flexibility.

  • Somatic Yoga Somatic yoga focuses on slow, mindful movement that helps you reconnect with your body, release tension, improve mobility, and increase body awareness. Instead of focusing on poses or flexibility, somatic yoga emphasizes how movements feel, helping calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and support gentle healing and recovery.


Group Fitness Reservations

  • To help provide the best possible experience for all members and ensure fair access to our most popular classes, Broadway Athletic & Swim Club requires reservations for all Group Fitness classes.

  • Members may reserve their spot up to 7 days in advance through the member portal.

  • We encourage members to reserve early, as classes may fill quickly.

  • Waitlists will be available for classes that regularly reach capacity. If a reserved member cancels their sport, the next member on the waitlist may be automatically moved into the class.

  • Members are responsible for monitoring their reservation status.

  • Online reservations will remain open until 5 minutes before the scheduled class start time.

  • Once the reservation window closes, any remaining available spots may be released at the discretion of the Club or Instructor.

  • Members with confirmed reservations will receive priority access to class participation.

  • Members without a reservation may be denied entry if the class has reached capacity.


Group Fitness Guidelines

  • Depending on the class type, space may be limited.

  • Should you need to leave the classroom, please tell the instructor by raising your hand or making eye contact — this will let the instructor know that you’re feeling fine. If you’re not feeling well, please sit down to alert the instructor; this will also put you in the best position for recovery.

  • Be considerate of other members' exercise space.

  • Classes and instructors are subject to change without notice.

  • Help us keep the exercise space tidy: please return all equipment to its proper storage area.

  • Please feel free to approach instructors if you have any questions or if it’s your first time in class. If you’re pregnant or have other medical issues that may affect your workout, please inform the instructor before the class begins.

  • Taking pictures is prohibited.

  • Please dress in appropriate workout attire.
